This NGO is formed to educate each and every child on this planet. Inside of this context we’re planning to take different projects in and around Jaipur to start with.

Our Mission


We work with children & women in Anganbadis, slum and village community centers; educating and mentoring them for a better future, for both themselves and our country.

We are working on projects like Annapurna-Udyogini, sponsoring children studies who cannot afford to go to school, inspiring children to attend school, providing them with different facilities that with aid them in completing their academic studies and make them self reliant.

We integrate various development initiatives to develop sustainable and self-reliant communities. With a sharp focus on education, health, employment generation and caring for the environment, we have a team of enthusiasts who work with us to design and implement our projects. We believe that for a disadvantaged community to survive, develop and prosper, providing basic needs of education, health and employment are the key criteria.

ANNAPURNA was constituted with committed 9 members at the time of its foundation and are increasing time to time. The members of the General Body meet once in a year and if required, emergency meeting can be called. Its office bearers are elected with the consensus of members of the General Body or through secret election process.

A full-fledged 10 member governing body has been constituted through consensus of the members of the general body in its annual meeting which work out and form all strategies and policies pertaining to the achievements of its aims and objectives and met once in a month to analyze the proceedings and achievements of the society. In addition to Governing Body an Executive Committee of 3 members has been formed to look after day to day activities of the society. Other than constitutional members of the society some members as consultant also support to our society.

An Advisory Committee has been also formed to advice to Governing Body and Executive Committee time to time or when ever required. The advisory committee is formed by comprising the constitutional members of the society and consultants.

To open the doors of Primary Education for “unreached children” without access to it.

To integrate children who are marginalized by poverty and lack of education into mainstream society.

To provide low-literate or illiterate youth with the power to earn a regular and decent livelihood.

To provide Health & Hygiene Services

to slum children and communities. To provide Developmental Services to slum communities, primarily by empowering women and the marginalized, and building awareness about the importance of education and upliftment of the girl child.

Years of Journey

History

ANNAPURNA Lokseva Shikshan Samiti is a non-profit making and Non-Government organization that is registered under Rajasthan Societies Registration Act 1958 under section 19,India and its working area is all over India SINCE 2005


ANNAPURNA ran it’s first Summer Camp ever in the village Paldi Meena district Jaipur . The 10 day summer camp ran from the 4th May to 14th May 2013 & then every year with different activities & covering areas like Paota , Kotputli
The aim behind organizing the camp was to generate an interest in art and craft, to explore the hidden talent in the kids, and raise computer literacy among the little children.
The main activities were drawing, painting, craft, origami, kiragami, and computer lessons. In addition, the older girls and women of the village were taught embroidery with the aim of helping them become self-sufficient.
On the final day, the talented and exceptional kids of the camp were felicitated and awarded. T-shirts sponsored by Panasonic, Vectus were distributed to the kids and volunteers. This was followed by a special lunch where the children feasted on their favorite meal consisting of kheer and puris.
